Following federal changes to childhood immunization recommendations, New York state has recently affirmed that there will be no changes to the NY state school immunization requirements, vaccine access, insurance coverage, or the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. The providers at Northeast Pediatrics & Adolescent medicine believe in the importance and safety of childhood immunizations. We will not be making any changes to our current recommendations in the immunization schedule, and will continue to follow the recommendations of the AAP, in line with NYS recommendations. As always, we encourage you to discuss your child’s recommended vaccines with their provider at any visit.
